Hailing Frequencies Open…

The movie campaign has received responses recently from more of your favorite DS9 actors.  The list originally included Louise Fletcher and Andrew Robinson, but that list now includes Louise Fletcher,  Andrew Robinson, J.G. Hertzler, Alexander Siddig, Marc Alaimo, Armin Shimmerman and Casey Biggs.  For more information, check out our "Celebrity Responses" section.  In other news...

Spreading the Word:

On January 27th, we sent letters to 34 of the most influential people involved with DS9; writers, producers, actors, recurring actors, and more. In those letters, we wrote an introduction to our campaign, and also included the cover page of the petition, which had an updated signature count of 15,805. The list of people we wrote to is as follows:

Like the petition, we'll keep you updated on any responses we receive.

The Postcard Campaign

Even though the petition has been sent in, there are other ways you can help. We need you, the fans, to send in a postcard with the words "MAKE A DS9 MOVIE" prominently written and only those words with your name and address so they know who sent it and where it comes from. This, along with the petition, will hopefully let Paramount know what we think!

Send it to:

Special Thanks Goes To…

We hope that we will succeed in getting DS9 at least some recognition for it's contribution to the Star Trek franchise. But no matter the outcome, we already have proven that it will never be forgotten. The Postcards you send, along with the petition and the tributes you write are testaments to our support of this series, and as long as you keep the memory alive, DS9 will live on forever as well. We'd like to thank all of you for your continued support, including our growing list of faithful web supporters. Without you, this campaign obviously wouldn't be possible. And this site never would have been possible without the help and support of Dick Davies from StarfleetLibrary.com.  We'd also like to thank the powers that be at Paramount for keeping DS9 on the air for seven memorable years, and the actors, writers, producers, and staff that brought it to life. Special thanks also goes to the people at Pocket Books for continuing the DS9 saga in printed form. They've proven that DS9 can still be as successful as it was on television.
